Auto-create OTP tokens for users does not work any more after update to 9.702-1

 Hi all,

 

was wondering on how to properly troubleshoot this issue... since the update under Definitions & Users - Authentication Services - One-Time Password the users are not generated automatically...

 

User base is MSAD. Authentication towards the DC works fine. When creating the user it gets automatically fetched by the UTM and appears under  Definitions & Users - Users & Groups.

But not for the OTP part. When creating manually the token for the user authentication and everything works just fine! little bit annoying as without any configuration changes this is not working any more. 

 

Firewall was restarted, checkbox to generate users automatically unchecked, saved, checked again, saved. not working still.

no logs found indicating anything with OTP in /var/log/

 

Any ideas, hints would be much appreciated!

    There are 2 ways to distribute the token:

    1. by yourself - you create a token and assign the user

    2. user access userportal - token is created and QR presented to user ... if enabled.

    Importing users from AD never assign a token without additional action ... as i know.
