SSL VPN client install from different account

Good morning, we're currently working on installing the Sophos SSL VPN client and config file to different laptops for our users to effectively work from home. Our users don't have admin rights to install programs so we'd like to install the client/config file for them but does the install have to be done from the user's account or could we use our admin accounts to install the client and then have the user connect or does the config file include something specific to the account that installed the client?

Thanks for any assistance provided.

  • Hi Anthony and welcome to the UTM Community!

I'm not sure what you're asking.  Config files for the SSL VPN are user-specific.  As an administrator on the user's PC, you can easily install for a user without going into the user's account on the PC.  You can download a complete setup file including program and config for a user on the 'Users' tab of 'Users & Groups'.
