Sophos Client Authentication Program - stop it asking for username & password & use SSO or automate?

Hi,

Is there any way to get the Sophos Client Authentication Program, installed on Windows 8.1 and 10, to just automatically get the user's name & password using Windows authentication or some kind of configuration file?

I was surprised that it manually asks the user to type in their username and password on a domain joined PC, as other clients, like the TMG client, just automatically got the current username and sent that to the firewall.

The problem is my student users will not be able to authenticate with an agent asking them to enter a username and password straight after they just logged in and we're having problems with STAS and SSO won't work with HTTPS.

Thanks

You shouldn't be having problems using SSO.  Have you gotten Sophos Support involved with this situation?
