Up2Date Cache

so my understanding is.... Up2Dates and patterns get sent to the ACC and the ACC pushes them out to all ASG's connect to the ACC. Is this correct? 

will patterns be pushed automatticaly and the firmware upgrades manually?

How many people out there today use this feature on the ACC?

    No. The Up2Date cache of the ACC acts like a http proxy. Additionally it makes sure each package is downloaded only once even if they are requested from different servers.

    Depending on your configuration pattern will be downloaded and installed automatically by the ASG. Also the firmware can be downloaded by the ASG automatically. Both options are on per default.
