Astaro Command Center - Management/Registration

Hi Guys,

Just got Astaro Command Center setup. I've had a few instances in the past and all have had this same issue.

Current Config:
ACC
Nic 1: Internal Network (for my techs)
Nic 2: Internet (Static IP used for clients ASGs)

When I'm logged into the ACC portal (port 4422) and go to Management/Registration, all the devices I'm currently managing have a public IP of "XX.XX.XX.XX" (The X's are actually the static IP of my own ACC box, not the client). However I've noticed that the agent IP is correct.

Can someone advise why this may be happening?

Hello,

the public IP is the IP of the last NAT device on the way of the device to the internet. If e.g. all devices are behind the same Firewall connected to the device the behaviour is the one you describe.

So I'm just curious, if my ACC is on the internet directly (with a static IP), why would it show my static IP as the public IP for all the devices I am monitoring?

This happens when you use the ACC as up2data cache for the ASGs.
