Backup / Restore Functionality

Quick Question.. now that backup / restore functionality has been added to ACC v1.03... can i setup a system on one hardware platform now, and upgrade to a bigger / better platform later by simply backing up the old system, and restoring to the new system (just like ASG Software)?

    Hi,

    yes, this is possible. All persistent device (location, inventory, attributes), user and permission data will be stored in the backup and can later be restored on another platform.

    Please note that you temporary monitoring data is not included in the backup. After all devices reconnect on the new platform, they will reprovide their current monitoring status.
