Issue with APs on SG330 after update

Since we did an update last week a lot of our APs haven't come back up.

2018:08:29-09:22:28 utm-gains awed[12241]: [A4002DAA8C9F3F2] device sends DEV2ASG_INITIALCONTACT twice, dropping.
2019:05:29-13:06:50 A4002DAA8C9F3F2 aweclient[910]: aweclient.c (2557) No message received. Reconnecting.
2019:05:29-13:06:50 A4002DAA8C9F3F2 aweclient[910]: aweclient.c (2632) Failed to configure device.

Getting a lot of the above errors. I have tried restarting AWED but with no luck so far.

  • Hi James,

    they might be bricked.

    If you have another utm try to check if they work on them and then change them back
    or try to remove one inactive AP, restart the AP and check if they come back.

    I guess this are not AP of the model 10,30,50.
    Then you can try to flash them to factory.

    Otherwise contact sophos support if you have a paid license subscription.
