Whats the max throughput for a RED to RED XG to UTM VPN?
Im only getting 5meg max, my connection is faster.
Thanks

Thanks,
So any idea why im not getting more than 5meg on the WAN side of the RED vpn?
Im only using the dashboard for speed monitoring but found its pretty accurate, task manager on the machine collaborates it.
I get 5meg without compression and 5meg on the UTM & 6 meg on the machine with compression.
I know it should be faster as Remote Access SSL VPN can utilise the full bandwidth of the WAN.

if you include the overhead, 5Mbit RED on a 7Mbit Upload is fine. It will also depend on the Routing between the WAN Endpoints on how much traffic you will be able to push through RED.
Compression only works within packets so you won't see that much extra bandwidth.

Just like Ben said, problem could be your 7Mbps upstream. This connection would never be able to send more than this regardless of the speed of the other side of the connection.
I have a UTM-UTM RED connection here which is capped at 100Mbps which gets to about 75-80Mbps. So it's not likely to be a UTM problem.

a few things to better give a helpful advice;
1) please provider an anoymized traceroute between the two WAN connections
2) setup IPerf between the two endpoints (WAN to WAN with DNAT) and see how much throughput you can get
3) give Details about both WAN Endpoints (same provider? LTE? DSL?)
