RED out of line

I would like to connect a RED device out of line, so that its WAN interface is connected to the local LAN. This works and connects back to the UTM but can I then point a server at the RED WAN interface and have the RED route it out?

Does anybody have any experience or information on doing this?

Hello rrimmer,

check out the RED Transparent/Split mode in the UTM documentation. In that mode, the RED WAN and LAN ports are bridged. Maybe that might help...

The RED can't do that. It only routes the traffic from devices connected to its LAN ports.
