RED Keep On restarting

Hello.

I have a problem on my Sophos RED device. I already configure the RED for VPN connection connected to my HQ office. In my HQ office I'm using Sophos UTM 9.

The problem is, my Sophos RED at my branch office is keep on restarting. Why?

Any explanation for this? Is this because of the instability of Internet line at my branch office? Or is it because of the equipment failure. Please advise. Thanks.

It could be either. Look at the RED log on the UTM, is it even making a connection back to the UTM? Check the Blink codes article and the Troubleshooting in the Technical Training Guide at https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/b/2450/3050/5200.aspx.

This is a huge issue with Sophos, the RED 50 are not viable as is. I have bought three RED 50 that I cannot deploy to my clients' place because they are rebooting all the time. This has nothing to do with the UTM. This is only a RED problem. Sophos does not find the problem. THe last update for UTM did improve a bit the problem about the big packets but this is not perfect far from that... Still inquyring. Bring your issue to support, more we are more we have chance it finds a solutioN.
