RED 10 to RED 50 Tunnel

I'm trying to give someone at a RED 10 location access to a RED 50 devices network without having access to the network behind the UTM. Is this possible? I'm using Transparent / Split on both RED Devices. I've set the RED 10 to use the RED 50's Network as the Split and also selected the RED 50 DNS, but it doesn't seem to be working.

The RED 10 works fine when I use the UTM's network as the split, it just can't ping the RED 50 when I use the RED 50's as the split.

Any help is appreciated.

  • You need both networks in both RED configurations on the UTM.
So split networks to RED10 needs the RED50's network and vice versa. Most likely you will also need the Internal (Network) in both your RED's split networks.

Then first try to ping IP-addresses before checking DNS-names. If you have a central DNS infrastructure you shouldn't need to point to "each other's" DNS-server.
