UTM to UTM using RED fails

Hi,
i'm linking two utm using red protocol but the tunnel fails with this strange error.

2013:06:28-17:53:02 asg-2 red_server[29572]: SELF: New connection from
***.***.***.*** with ID *********xx (cipher RC4-SHA), rev1
2013:06:28-17:53:02 asg-2 redctl[29574]: key length: 32
2013:06:28-17:53:02 asg-2 redctl[29574]: ioctl: No such file or directory
2013:06:28-17:53:02 asg-2 red_server[29572]: *********xx: unable
to set initial keys
2013:06:28-17:53:07 asg-2 red_server[8789]: id="4202" severity="info"
sys="System" sub="RED" name="RED Tunnel Down" red_id="*********xx"
forced="1"
2013:06:28-17:53:07 asg-2 red_server[8789]: *********xx is disconnected.

I already have another red tunnel and some red50 working fine without issues.
Already tried to reboot all the units.....

Any idea ?
Thanks

  • What happens if you delete the client side and download-upload a new copy of the client configuration?  If that doesn't work, does it work to delete the server configuration and redefine it with a new client?
