I currently have Astaro doing DHCP with a tftp-server-name option 66, which I use to help configure SIP phones. It does not seem that Astaro passes this down to a RED box. Are there any options?
Set Up.
Internal LAN is on 172.16.10.x/24 with Astaro handling DHCP and a tftp-server-name (option 66) set to a static of 172.16.10.50, which is my Asterisk server. All the phones on this lan tftp boot fine and work as expected.
I have a RED set up at a remote office on 172.16.30.x/24, with a polycom phone set to tftp boot per dhcp options.
I have verified that I can access all the necessary ports from the 172.16.30.x network. i.e. I can ping host, netcat to udp port, etc...
