Afternoon all.
Thanks to the help in the last thread I've got an ASG virtual application running, a red box installed at a remote site and it holds a tunnel. unfortunately anything I plug into the red, doesn't get a DHCP address (something that the setup process on the ASG says it creates)
I'm assuming it creates a range from the device IP I've given it and starts assigning them to devices plugged in at the other end? if this is so, do I need to do anything else to make this happen?
Just a quick summary of what I've got. I've installed an ASG virtual appliance, given it a NIC in one of our networks (172.20.0.0) which has a DNS entry and firewall rules pointing through for port 3400 TCP/UDP and the internal NIC has 172.17.0.0. The ASG is a fresh install, set up just for this purpose, it does nothing else as yet and I've only run through the setup for the ASG and added the RED box to the list and it did some auto creation of stuff. The remote site, I'd like to be 172.17.1.1, I've specified that IP for the box and assumed it would assign 172.17.1.2... on to any other devices that went in, do I need to do anything else to facilitate this or does it not function how I'm expecting? It seems like such a simple premise but I'm managing not to grasp the idea properly and can't make it work as yet.
Thanks for any and all ventured help!
