  • I think the reason for RED rev.2 was to be able to reflash the device.  A bricked rev.1 is a paperweight. [:(] [;)]

This week bought two RED of a partner in Brazil ... the equipment that I received were RED v. 1. That is correct? Can I make the switch to RED v2?

    They can be easily distinguished:

RED v1 has NO USB Ports

RED v2 has one USB PORT and is Astaro branded (dark chassis and orange labels)

RED v3 is identical to RED v2 but is Sophos branded (white chassis)
