Make certain that the RED box has access to udp and tcp port 3400. This is necessary for the RED to reach the Astaro RED configuration server and establish a tunnel.

it is a cisco/RED problem. Stp on cisco side is to slow, on RED side it tries to fast to connect.
I asked support, with 8.3 there will be an optimized firmware.
