RED and static IP

Dear all,

is it possible to configure the RED Device WITHOUT any internet router and DHCP?

We have a Site that has a fixed IP Address, that we want to use without any internet router between....!

    To add to what Bruce said, some ISPs also have DHCP on lines with fixed IPs.  I know that Cox does this with their cable modem connections, and I believe that AT&T does it with DSL connections.  Check with your ISP to see if you can skip the step that Bruce had to create for some of his customers.
