VoIP configuration with RED.

Hi all,

Hope you are doing well.

I have a customer that has 10 branches and Elastix VoIP server.

We sold him ASG 220 and 10 RED and configured them and right now they are up and running.

The scenario that we implemented is Standard/Unified and each branch has its own IP range.

So, I want to configure the Elastix to connect the phones on the branches with HQ.

So, I want to let the Voice on separate IP range.

What are the remaining steps that I should do them in Astaro?

Erm: Probably assign a 2nd IP to the redsX interface per location.
Remember: The RED is nothing more and nothing less than an Ethernet tunnel. Just imagine what you'd configure on a physical interface with an ethernet cable and (non managed) switch attached to it. You'd have to do the same on the ASG.

I know Mobile Voip Provider has a lot of help issues that cover problems like this, so if you have anything that is still unresolved, I would use them as a resource. Also, a lot of the sip provider have pretty good Q&A sections that can help you run through issues like this. Hope this finds you well.
