Remote Authentication

Hello everyone,

i have a problem with my RED. 
Since the RED opens a tunnel into my network, any computer connected to the RED will have access to my network. 
Is there any possibility to check the clients for e.g. certificates or something else so just my employees will have access to my network and others will be blocked?
I neither found options in the RED Management nor in the packetfilter.

    No there is no way to handle this. Maybe it helps if you release static IP-addresses via DHCP to your employees hosts and create packetfilter rules only for these hosts.

    Currently there's not a real way to do what you ask; It was a concern of mine as well, and I've mentioned it in passing when talking to some of the higher-ups in tech side of the Astaro organization.  I'd recommend going over to feature.astaro.com and create a feature request for this -- would probably need to be some sort of NAC - type solution.
