Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't seem to find the answer.
I'm setting up a RED/ASG120 V7 environment for my customer. I have it all in my Lab and I was hoping to have the RED configured here first. The 2 sites are some distance apart and I want to make sure it all works first.
The ASG120 is connected to on the LAN port to my workstation and I have been configuring it this way.
When I start to configure the RED (Global Setting--Enable)
It then goes to Activate and I immediately get "RED registry failed -- make sure it is connected to the internet and port 3400...."
Is there not a way to configure this device locally?
So, if I go Add RED device, it says Turn on RED management Globally (which I tried to do).
Am I missing something obvious in that I have to have the Firewall in place and running and then the RED somewhere else on the internet?
Thanks in advance!
