fix IP RED + ASG freeze @ saving config RED device

hi @ all,


following scenario: i want to setup a RED device but i want to give them a fix ip.
so therefore i configure the RED device like:

Branch Name: my_RED_device
RED ID: _ID_of_RED_device
Quick remote network setup: enable
Base (ASG) IP: IP of the RED device

firmware on the ASG is 7.506

now i have 2 questions:
1. why have the ip of the RED ends with .1?
2. why do the asg freeze if i click "save" for saving the red device config

    You are setting up the entire RED LAN network address when you do that, RED gets the .1 for its internal IP address when you use the Quick Setup option.  

    In version 7, RED only supports DHCP on the WAN link by default.  If you want to assign a static IP to the WAN interface, that is supported in Version 8.
