RED Appliance Setup

I just ordered my first RED 10 and can't wait to try it out, however, I just found out that the DSL Modem that the ISP has provided uses 192.168.1.1 as the IP Address for the LAN and it cannot be changed. I tried several times to change it and the modem will drop Internet connection if changed for some reason. Will this affect me being able to use the RED 10 with that DSL Modem?[:S]
