Where I find the unlock code for first time on RED?

Hi, 
 Where I find the unlock code for first time on RED? I seen " If this RED is now being deployed for the first time, the unlock code is not required. " but it sitll require unlock code. Did I have to register RED first?

 Thanks for reaching out to Sophos Community 
 If you're configuring a RED for the first time, leave the unlock code blank. If the device has been set up previously on another Sophos firewall, type the unlock code.
