RED

hi, I want to manage one server in remote location. I do not want to manage a whole network. I have utm and red 15. Is it possible to do it? If I plug in a wan link on red to switch and then server to lan on red then will  that work?

  • Do you want the remote network internet traffic to go through the UTM? Does the remote location handle it's own DHCP?

Transparent/Split should work in this instance. You would have to enter the network address range of the network you are connecting from in the "Split Network" field. This should redirect all traffic coming to and from your LAN to the correct locations.

Try it out and see what works. :)
