Error VPN RED (UTM to UTM)

Recently I have many problems with RED VPN (UTM to UTM).

On the Head Office I have 2 ISP, and I use only one to configure my VPNs.

I have 4 Branch Office, and sometimes a I get the following error in them.

2018:02:22-09:46:55 sophos1040 red_client[4159]: Tunnel 5: Forking client handler
2018:02:22-09:46:56 sophos1040 red_client[9018]: CHILD Tunnel 5: Can't connect (IO::Socket::INET6 configuration failed)
2018:02:22-09:47:00 sophos1040 red_client[4159]: Tunnel 5: Forking client handler
2018:02:22-09:47:01 sophos1040 red_client[9023]: CHILD Tunnel 5: Can't connect (IO::Socket::INET6 configuration failed)
2018:02:22-09:47:05 sophos1040 red_client[4159]: Tunnel 5: Forking client handler

 Sometimes the VPN appear down but works normally.

When it doesn't work I have to disable and enable the Interface ISP on the Head Office.

I've tried redo Red tunnel in the Branch Office and in Head Office, but I can do the VPN works only when I reset my ISP Interface. Sometimes a have to reset 2 or 3 times.

  • Hmmmmm...  I don't think this is anything you've done incorrectly in your configurations.  Try #7.7 in Rulz and see if that solves the problem of needing to reset the ISP interface.
