I have the problem when a user is logging in at the Sophos Client Authentication App, he get's the failure message:"Can not validate Certificate SAA will close now"
Wired thing is, when i start the App with Administrator privileges and the user logs into Client Authenticaton App with his own sophos credentials, it works fine!(until the user reboots, the problem occurs again.) When the App is running it is working as expected and authenticates the user with utm rules.
Since it is a Domain Network i have to install the app (exe file) as Admin and i also tried to install it on C drive outside the standard AppData path. I installed the App on user profile logged on and also when Admin logged on > same result.
Are you using a .MSI file that you run on the client or the .exe file?

Amodin i used the .exe file for installation!
i found a solution based on a another comment in this forum. i extracted the exe file with 7zip and copied the content over to the already installed Auth-apps files. then i run the .bat file under this user. works now!
Yes, that is what I was going to suggest.
install it using the exe version into program files.Use 7 zip to extract install.bat, certinst.exe, and AstaroCA.cer from the exeCopy these files into a folder where the other users have access to them. The other users need to run install.bat
for those who never extracted an exe file, it is very simple, you just need to right klick the app's .exe file and choose extract to folder from windows explorer. done!
