Installing Sophos Connect v2 alongside OpenVPN client

Hi

Has anyone successfully been able to install OpenVPN Client alongside Sophos Connect v2 client?
It appears that because the Sophos Connect v2 software utilises the OpenVPN service for SSLVPN connection you can install them together but not have multiple VPNs running at the same time.

I appreciate that this is a rare requirement but we need to be able to connect to our own Sophos XG with the Connectv2 SSLVPN client while also being able to connect to a customer via OpenVPN SSLVPN. Currently this fails as the "shared" TAP adaptor is in use by one or the other. Ideally being able to have multiple TAP adaptors would potentially solve the issue???

Any ideas much appreciated.

Dan

  • No, you can't.  You can only have one or the other installed on the same computer.
