connection to NAS failed after update to 9.411-003

Hello,

after the update to 9.411-003 on Mai 28, 2017 our server does not connect to the NAS via file system any more. Even connection via synology assistant does not work. Access is granted over web page, although. What could be the problem? In the description of the changes made by this update there is a hint to a change in password acceptance as ">" and "<" are translated to html code. Is that correct? Our passwords often include these signs.

    The logs in your NAS should say whether or not it's seeing a lot of incorrect passwords.  If you can't find anything there, start with #1 in Rulz.
