Howto remove old he.net IPv6 Broker Interface

Hi,

For a few months i used a IPv6 Tunnel Broker service from he.net. Now i have a native IPv6 address /48 so i don't need the he.net interface anymore. I have already disabled the tunnel broker interface but the interface he.net still exists.

Is it possible to remove the interface?

  • Hi,

My experience so far is no you cannot delete the IPv6 tunnel. I tried and couldn't built a new machine instead.

Try using IPv6 with advertising enabled and auto renumbering, this should override the he tunnel settings.
