How can I view the bandwidth usage of live connections

I use a CR35iNG UTM10.6.5 in my office.

I recently noticed that the internet get quite slow, it's observed from the Cacti which I was given by my ISP, that my uplink is way higher than my downlink. As I'm not certain how this is possible, since there are hardly users that constantly upload stuffs to the internet, or remotely to servers, I want to know if Sophos has a means to get this done from the firewall interface.

Thanks.

Alára.

  • Hey Alára,

you've to enable "Application Control" under WebProtection -> Application Control. After that, you can click onto the WAN interface on the dashboard. A new window will open with currently all used applications. Click on the application with the highest bandwidth and you will see which client/server is involved into the communication.

  • Hell Jas,

Thanks for responding. But I don't see these options on my dashboard. Pardon my ignorance. I have attached a snapshot of a cross-section of the screen, perhaps you could point me in the right direction from there.

  • Sorry, my fault. I didn't read your UTM specifications. I've never heard of Cyberoam. It seems that this company was bought by Sophos, right?

I guess this is not the right forum for this product. I've never read something about this product in this forum.
