Skype or GotoMeeting and Multipath rules

Hello,

we have three uplink interface with our SG230. 2 asymmetric and 1 symmetric line. I only want to route (transparent) GotoMeeting or Skype traffic through the symmetric internet uplink.

Is there an application filter to achieve this? or Do I have to put all GotoMeeting IPs to a multipath rule?

Pls share any worked solution.

Hi Ulrich,

Applications can only be used in QoS rules, not in Uplink Balancing where you only can use 'Source -> Service -> Destination' Traffic Selectors. There might be a suggestion for that in Ideas.

thanks for your response. Citrix is offering information about hostnames (like *.getgoservices.com) and IP-ranges (see http://support.citrixonline.com/en_us/meeting/all_files/G2M060010 )

Is it possible to use such wildcard hostnames in the UTM config?

Ulrich, the limitation on wildcard hostnames is a limitation of name servers. You have to use the CIDR blocks listed at that URL.
