with my Unifi Video server being outside the network and my computer being inside the network I am unable to pull up my security camera feeds I get a NVR unreachable error. But I can get into the webpage and login and see the cameras, manage them but I cannot access the video stream from them. Any thoughts on this?
Sophos UTM 9
I have tried to disable Web Filtering, Intrusion Prevention no go. I only have one computer hooked to the Sophos box directly so I dont have any other switches or firewalls blocking me. If I move the network cable from the Sophos box to a switch on my primary network I have full connectivity to my cameras. I have 5 static IP's at my house the Sophos box is using one of them, with an ethernet cable from the modem to the Sophos box direct. I can browse websites, view YouTube streams, Hulu, Netflix and DirectTV Now service without problems. I am so new to this that I dont even know where to look I just know I wanted to be safer than a cheap off the shelf router could do for my home.
Also I have IP's that will be migrated over to the Sophos box (when it all works right, lol) from my security cameras around my mobile home, three switches and a few wireless PTMP links with Cameras on the other far ends 34 IP's in total. Do those devices count as "Users" on the Sophos system? If so can I pay for more IP's on my Home server? Seems like in todays connected world 50 would run out super FAST. My kids, their friends my TV's, Roku, Apple TV's security cameras, Amazon Echo, phones, tablets, computers and a partridge in a pear tree. :)
OH AND I CAN MAKE A USER NAME AND PASSWORD THAT WILL VIEW ONLY THE CAMERA STREAMS IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING THEY WANT TO TRY BUT I WILL ONLY PROVIDE THAT VIA A PRIVATE MESSAGE SO I DONT HAVE A THOUSAND LOGINS WORLDWIDE ON MY CAMS.
Thank you,
Chad
