Cannot connect to Webadmin from Outside using Port 4444

 Hi,

I've got a problem using our new Sophos Virtual appliance.

I can't connect to WebAdmin through the outside interface using port 4444.

Allowed networks is set to any. If I change the WebAdmin port to anything other for example 4443 it's working from inside and outside.

The issue started, after i created a D-NAT Rule using Port 4444 for our SUM.

I noticed my error (I wanted port 4422) but my fingers were faster than my brain...

I disabled and deleted the D-Nat rule for Port 4444. But Webadmin is still not working.

I restarted the appliance but nothing changed.

It's working on the inside interface using port 4444...

Can anybody help me with this issue?

  • Delete your dnat rule because I suspect you have auto packet filter rule generation enabled.

    Or alternatively enable the rule and change the port number.
