Interface Ethernet Bridging to create a switch

Hey All,

Im not to sure if this has been discussed at all .

I was told in order to make a switch on the SG UTM was to create an Ethernet Bridge group with the interface that weren't being used.

I did so but it seems that somehow after making the group, No data was going through the interfaces that were including into the bridge interface.

If i connected to the main bridge interface and everything else into a switch it would work.

But for example. Eth0 - Main LAN interface. I added eth1,2 to this. If I connected anything into 1 or 2 no data was going through the firewall, SIP was a major issue as well.

Any help of info would be much appreciated :)

  • I think you will also need to create a firewall rule allowing traffic from the bridge to the bridge. Sounds strange, but all traffic passing through the UTM's interfaces needs to be allowed in order to be passed through......
