WIFI bridge users unable to browse network computers, but can connect ok. How can I enable my wireless users to browse computers on the LAN?

I have a wireless bridge to my internal LAN.  All of my wired users are able to browse the network and see shares, etc.  None of my wireless users, however, can do this.

If a wireless user manually specifies a share to connect to, such as \\Resource\share, the have no problem connecting - they just cannot browse any listing of available shared resources on the network.

Any ideas what can be wrong here?  Please help.

  • Hi Jose,
maybe your wireless bridge seperates the WiFi clients like a privat VLAN.
Are you able to ping WiFi clients from another WiFi client or from a LAN client?

Are the WiFi clients Windows clients? Did they recognize the WiFi as "Privat Network"?
