2 of 4Vlans not working.

UTM425
All DHCP is coming from the UTM. none use internal DNS,

VLAN1 172.17.20.XXX works like it should wifi network for group1

VLAN2 172.17.30.XXX works like it should wifi network for group2

VLAN3 10.0.40.XXX no network access.. gets an IP/DNS, just wont connect to the iNet

VLAN4 10.0.50.XXX no network access.. gets an IP/DNS, just wont connect to the iNet

all 4 are set up identically in the UTM

Should they all on the 172.xxx networks?

  • Please say why you conclude that 1 "works like it should" and that 3 has "no network access" and "wont connect to the iNet." What are you trying and what do you see?

  • VLANS 1 and 2 have full internet access therefore it works like it should
VLANS 3 and 4 work (by the networking definition--DHCP works-they get an IP, they get DNS, they get the gateway of 10.0.40.1 and .50.1 respectively). They have NO internet access.
