Two VDSL connected over switch - Only one connection works at a time

Hi,

please let me descire our scenario before asking the question.

We have two physical Hyper-V hosts which host one Sophos UTM VM each. Those UTM VMs should work in an active-passic HA solution which already works great.

Additionally, we are using two VDSL connections with outgoing load balancing. If I connect those two modems directly to one of the Hyper-V hosts those two VDSL connections work great.

If I put those two VDSL modems in a managable Dell PowerConnect switch only one connection works at a time. The other conenction fails during PPPoE discovery.

Are there any best practices for this scenario?

Thanks!
