Set VPNs via SNMP up/down

Hi,  

we want to buy an SG210.
We need to set the VPN Ports Up and down with SNMP.

Reason: we have 30 VPNs which are regular down.
If we need one, we like to set it UP with our own Management Software.
This Software need SMNP Access with the right to set the Ports Up and down.

Is this possible?

    Hi, Frank, and welcome to the User BB!

    Scott, teched and I all know how to do what you want at the command line.  For example, enabling a Connection named "Tunnel 1" would be:

    cc change_object 'REF_IpsSitTunnel1' 'status' 1


    The real issue is whether that might create a problem with your support agreement.  When you have the answer to that, please come back and inform us.

    thanks for the quick response and your tips with the command line.

    I have written a small Program (only for internal use) which can set the ports up and down on our Bintec. It checks if VPN Networks are colliding before set it up. Useful for every IT Supporter with VPNs to his customers. We need this for our daily work.

    I have set a feature request. If anyone find it useful please vote for it:

    Set the VPN Ports Up and down with SNMP.
