Data Disk Filling Up Issue

Hey guys;

Data Disk is filling up - please check. Current usage: 75%

I've gotten a few email alerts already on this.  75% of 3.5G in the dashboard..and I know 3.5G isn't alot, but for now it's all I got.  It's been fine for years anyways.    I'm running 8.2, is there an easy way to clear all the logs/cache etc?  I don't care about keeping the reporting, or anything I just want to free up the space entirely.

  • I Read that entire thread and was a little confused on how to remove it.  I didn't see anything specific?   I've never messed around in the shell.  I put in my root username/password and got in... and confused on where to go from there?  Doing an RM * does nothing.

    cd /var/storage/cores

    ls (LS lower case) to see if there are any files in that directory. If there are then rm* to remove them all.
