After update to 7.3 not getting daily executive report

    hate to bump a 1+ year old thread but after /var/storage/pgsql/init/reporting_db_init.sh i get 
    psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
    Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
    createdb: could not connect to database postgres: could not connect to server: No such file or directory


    yes i ran 'su -' 
    no other ideas here..thanks!
