manually starting Remote Log

is it possible to manually start Remote Log File Archive. im using ftp to store the astaro log data on a ftp server. can you also upload logs older 1 day.

    No and No. The archiving is tied to the log rotation process and does only work while the rotation process is running. This implies that it is not possible to remote archive older log files.
    In one of the next up2dates, the archiver tool will be updated; with it, you can test the remote archive functionality (and don't have to wait until midnight). Command line option -h gives you help, -d debug, and -t to test the remote archive functionality.
