Please assist, I need some general clarification as to how Sophos UTM 9 setup works, I have a old test server as suggested with 2 NICs yet I am not sure how the physical setup should be. The internal NIC eth0 will that serve as admin access to the Sophos interface as well as DHCP to clients?
How does the WAN interface work as I have a router on the network with a PPPoE account currently all clients connect to the internet through that gateway, do I connect the internal eth0 to my switch which works well for for obtaining addresses but now i do not have internet access, the router is now connected straight to eth1 on the server, what setup should occur on Sophos for internet connectivity or is my physical layout wrong?
Please assist, somewhat confused!
