vlans dhcp

how do i configure sophos to do dhcp on different vlans. i want to add 3 vlans in our network ex 192.168.1.0/ 24 192.168.2.0/24 and 192.168.3.0 /24 can sophos do dhcp for those blocks. we are using layer 2 switches. also can sophos detect vlans let say port 1 on my switch is vlan 10 and i just change the vlan on the switch to vlan 20 and sophos would know what ip address to give it.

  • Hi,
UTM 9 can do as many VLANs (about 250 from memory) on the one interface. You setup a vlan type interface and then create a dhcp server for that vlan becomes a selectable object from the drop down list. You setup the connection to the UTM 9 as tagged and all other ports as untagged within the vlan.

    Works well.
