UTM 9.718-5 - Eth interface Virtual MAC becomes permanent ?

Hello,

In order to replace my ISP router, I've configured my UTM 9 to have a virtual MAC that is the ISP router MAC.
This way, I get authentified to their server and get my IP address and internet access.

I did this a couple of years ago.
I did notice thou, that this virtual MAC became the 'real' MAC of the eth interface 

Dual LAN motherboard, so both adapter have a similar MAC

Highlighted in green: the virtual MAC configured years ago (on eth1 which became eth2 at some point ?) real MAC: fc:aa:14:2f:04:d3
Highlighted in blue: the real MAC of my other adapter (eth0)

Circled in green: I can set a new virtual MAC for this interface that is currently using a virtual MAC already ?



so my question is: WTF ?
(i know realtek are not great, etc etc etc. they're still working just fine, and that's fine for my home setup)
