Packetfilter log purpose of action="log"?

Hello,

can someone explain me the purpose of the name="Packet logged" action="log" loglines?

I mean if a packet is accepted by the firewall it gets logged via name="Packet accepted" action="accept" (if I enable logging for the specific rule).

But on which circumstances does the name="Packet logged" action="log" logline appears in the logfile?
