Log traffic

What is the relationship between the "Log traffic" option and what is logged in the firewall log (packetfilter)?.

If I turn off the "log traffic" in a rule, are the packets dropped and accepted on the log no longer logged in the firewall log?

Or does "log traffic" allow me to see packet traffic only in real time?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Log traffic: If you select this option, logging is turned on, and packets matching the rule are logged in the firewall log.

If log traffic is turned off, you won't be able to see the real-time log, and there won't be any log entry in packet filter logs for that specific rule id.

    Thanks,
