VLAN to LAN Bridging

Hello,

due to network design i need to fully transparent two-way bridge a VLAN interface on ethX to a LAN interface on ethY

all i've found on the forum relates to wireless protection and whatnot, which is not the case, so far i've found no way to do this (mikrotik can do it for example).

in fact i haven't found a way to to a vlan bridge either(like a switch does) regardless of physical interface.

¿any idea how to do this on utm 9.6?

  • No, i think this doesn't work with SG.

I would configure boot switches to connect the SG using "access-port" (untagged) for this LAN/VLAN segment, if bridging is really necessary.

  • Hola,

I think you're right that this cannot be done in WebAdmin.

  • Indeed after much reneging, it can't be done.

I had to mcgyver the thing losing a switch port and a mix of PVID/untagged/tagged config on it and then converting the interfaces to VLAN on the existing LAN interface of the UTM
