We have implemented routing policy on a UTM SG135. During the save process ot that policy, the UTM freeze and
after a long waiting period, we had to reset the UTM. This concludes, that we do not have any access to the web interface of the UTM now.
We try now to reset the UTM by console and considered the support articles on the Sophos Website like www.sophos.com/.../115346.aspx or www.sophos.com/.../115346.aspx.
We currently are not able to reset the UTM with one of this process. We can reset the loginuser and or root password over serial connection and after a reboot we can login on the console with one of this account, but as soon as we use the su command for resetting the UTM, (where we are asked for the su credential), we get no access (access denied, credential invalid) We are using US keyboard layout friendly password (like e.g asdfrewq) but we were not successful.
We are not very serial / terminal experience. Is there a way to
A: disable the wrong / buggy routing policy by console?
B: if not, how can I reset the UTM to factory default settings?
Every help is very appreciated.
