Does anyone have experience with bridging a WAN Port from a Sophos via RED to another sophos to use for internet access?

I managed to bridge a WAN Port at a vserver that is running a sophos and put the second IP Adress on my home sophos via the RED Function. I can get incoming traffic was if the WAN Port was native at my home but i can't use the connection for outgoing connections (for example surfing) - i am sure i am missing something crucial here, maybe someone else allready tried this?

  • Slightly confused... however, you want to use the WAN Gateway of UTM 1 from a computer that is connected to the LAN of UTM 2?? Why? Anywhos. What operational mode is the RED in? Unified I hope.

When in doubt, Script it out.

  • i only got a CGN internet connection at home. I am trying to get a public ipv4 "home" by using RED and briding one WAN and using the RED Interface at home as an additional WAN connection. It works inbound, just not outbound.
