Need Help with Routing multiple physical interfaces

Hello All,

I am new to the coomunity and would really appreciate some help regarding the routing issues I am running into.

Current Configuration

Sophos UTM - WAN interface -> Connected to the Internet

Internal Physical interface Connected to Netgear Switch Port 1

Another Physical interface (Named Guest) Connected to Netgear Switch Port 2

I am able to do everything, browse and all on the networks on the Internal Physical interface. But no traffic on the other physical interface (named Guest)

I have setup the MASQ and also have an allowed all NAT rule for the Guest interface and the underlying VLANs on that interface.
But i still have no routing to the Internet on that interface.

The Default route for the switch goes to the Internal interface on Sophos.

What am I missing here?

  • Hi Kaushal and welcome to the UTM Community!

Is this a managed switch where you can separate ports into different Ethernet segments?  If not, then you're running into the problem that #3.1 in Rulz warns about.

    Cheers - Bob
